The material connection, stated plainly

This website is operated by Fair Reviews LLC, and it is published in connection with, and compensated by, Marlene's Pet Shop — the maker and seller of the Kitty Kurlz cat scratcher. In other words, this is a seller-affiliated review site, not an independent or impartial one, and you should read it with that in mind. We tell you this up front because it's the honest thing to do, and because the law requires it.

What we promise anyway

Being affiliated with the seller doesn't mean the reviews are fake or filtered. Here's exactly how it works:

• Every review comes from a verified, real order. Each one is matched to an order in the seller's system. If we can't match a review to a real order, we don't publish it.
• No review is paid for or incentivized. Customers are not offered money, discounts, free product, or anything else in exchange for a review or for a positive rating.
• We never suppress negative reviews. Critical and four-star reviews arepublished in full, with the brand's replies. We remove only spam, profanity, and personal information — never a review for being unflattering.
• The rating is the plain average. No weighting, no cherry-picking, no rounding up.
• No affiliate links. We don't earn a separate commission on the links from this Site; we simply point you to the seller's official product page.
