Kitty Kurlz is the accordion cardboard scratcher from Marlene's Pet Shop — the one from the videos. The internet around it is noisy: knockoffs using our name on Amazon and Temu, auto-generated "scam?" videos, the works. So we built the quiet room: every review we can match to a real order, every customer photo we've been sent, and straight answers to the skeptical questions. “It's already tearing” — durability with rough scratchers
Natalie's kitten started tearing it inside a month; April's cardboard-chewing giant destroyed one in about six months (and she's replacing it).
Our answer: it's corrugated cardboard on purpose — it takes the beating so your couch doesn't. Gentle cats get many months; determined shredders get fewer. When it's destroyed, it did its job.
“Wish the magnets were stronger”
Roy's kittens play rough enough to pop the ring open and send the balls rolling.
Our answer: the magnetic closure is a real trade-off — strong enough for normal play, and openable on purpose so you can reshape it. Multi-kitten wrestling can defeat it. Placing it on carpet rather than hard floor helps it hold.
“Smaller than I thought”
Roy connected four units to get the size he expected from the videos.
Our answer: some of the footage you've seen shows more than one unit connected — that's the honest reason for the size surprise. The photo wall has plenty of shots next to average-sized cats so you can judge the scale before buying.

It's lightweight but doesn't slide around, the collapsible design makes it easy to move or store. It keeps my cats entertained throughout the day. I'm really happy with how much use they get out of it.
It’s a great product and well worth it for the money, if your cat will engage with it. Well, I don’t know what’s going on with Tango; give her an old cardboard box or even a plastic bag and she’s bouncing! I’ve bought one of these thinking she’d love it…. Nope! She’s completely ignored it. 🤣 The kids keep turning it into a doughnut, while Tango looks at me like I have 3 heads for trying to encourage her to play with it. 🤣 Oh well! It feels nice when it forms different shapes. 🤣 I don’t want to give a bad review because it’s not the product or business fault that my cat is just being defiant! 🤣🤣🥰🏴
Our 2 pack of kitty kurlz was delivered yesterday and we are very happy with our purchase! Our our kitten is about 14 weeks old and absolutely loves it!! I was a little apprehensive, ordering from a company that had come up on my Facebook page with mixed reviews but had to just share that we had the best experience. Our order was delivered within 6 days and this included weekends. We will definitely be watering again when the first two need to be replaced!
So easy to assemble. It sticks together with magnets. My kitten loves it and bats the bal around. I actually have 3 of them to make it a bit bigger and it is fun to watch her play.
Our new kittens Love this. At 8 weeks they are completely engaged with and excited about this toy. It's the first toy they play with and they stay involved for quite a long time for such young kittens.

After reading the reviews it was obvious I needed to buy two. My cat is 2.5mos so one is fine for now but will need two once he gets bigger. Here's the thing - if you stretch it out a bit there is less pull on the magnets so it won't disconnect if your cat is really getting into it. And my cat REALLY gets it! I think the vendor could be more transparent and say one for kitten, two for full grown cat. While he's still a kitten I have one upstairs and one downstairs.
I bought it for my new kitten because I’m gone at work a lot, I just moved into a new apartment when I got her so I don’t have much at all for her quite yet. It took her all day to warm up to it but now she’s going crazy! I’m just glad she’s enjoying it, I’m going to give my free one to my sister for her cats. Big thanks from me and Fruity Pebbles!
Child and kitty approved! I am obsessed with this product on so many levels. 1. The cats came up to it instantly!! (My child wanted to play too lol.). They all love it so far! 2. A super cute ball came with it. I wasn't expecting that. 3. Luxpeep the fact that it's environmentally friendly. Seriously, it comes in compact and lightweight as it's made from structured cardboard, stretch it to your desired length, and done!! If you want to take it with you on a trip, it folds back up so easily. 4. Not noisy at all without the ball.
I was skeptical at first when I opened these up. I bought two of them. I have six cats. The biggest cat likes to chew on cardboard boxes and paper. So when I saw the material was cardboard like, I honestly didn't think it would last very long. I caught him chewing on them a few times over the last few months. Then last night I caught him ripping it apart.... Well it last longer than six mont it not a full year... All the cats do love playing with them for sure... Guess I will get a replacement later on ....
This is one product that actually lives up to the hype. My two cats were literally jumping at walls, pulling off collars, and trying to open the pantry door repeatedly. They have cat towers (plural!), toys and scratchers but they are obsessed with this!
Our sweet kitty has over-enjoyed and totally destroyed her first kitty kurlz and was in desperate need of a new one! It arrived today and she is looking forward to breaking it in.
This toy passed the most important test—my cat actually uses it! 😊 The rolling ball keeps her entertained, the scratcher gets plenty of action, and the shape-shifting design adds variety. Less boredom, more play, and hopefully fewer claw marks on my furniture. A win all around!
My kitty's LOVE this donut!! Order two and put them together, you will regret not doing that. I feel one donut is way too small. This thing baffles them and keeps them busy with fun play. You wouldn't think it could take a beating, considering its basically cardboard like material, but it really does withstand heavy kitty play - between they'r teeth and claws, it get's put through the wringer too. Also makes a great gift for people with cats.
Cute! My cat likes it! It took a few to get the magnets to stick. I just stretched it out a bit so there was less resistance for it to pull apart. Fun product!
I couldn't get it out of the package quick enough and set it up for my fur babies, especially for Tiger, it's like she already knew, it was a new toy for them, before even getting it out completely!! She was so curious about it and ready to play with it. Shipping was quick and it was well packaged. It was neat how it came in a small package, then expended so much bigger after opening and putting it together, I was shocked. Tiger immediately took over playing with it first, she seemed to absolutely love it! Panda is a little more laid back and likes to play with toys here and there. And then Mere is a much older cat and not as playful with toys anymore. But, both Panda and Mere were so interested in playing with it too and figuring out what it was all about. It was so nice seeing Mere interested in a toy again. I really like how it's made, really durable and the magnets work really well staying together. All the different shapes you can make with it and it's so neat, that you can get more than one and attach them together, to make it even bigger and more shapes. I love that if you do need to put it up temporarily or even take with you while traveling, that you can conveniently put it back to the regular size, it came in the box. It has really held up really good still and in good condition.
KITTEN LOVED IT!!! Took him a minute to figure it out but thank goodness gives me peace of mind he entertains himself when playing with this toy! Highly recommend! Would suggest even buying two as they hook together with a magnet, would be cool to make it bigger!! Seems pretty durable as my kitten was standing on top of it. Also can collapse to take on the go!
My kittens love this they immediately started playing with it. They love the sound of bells and kept playing with it nonstop. All my cats were curious about it.
Great Concept but one isn't enough. The item got here quick and is compact which is good when storing away after use. The material is durable and lightweight. Its smaller than expected and on first use it takes some stretching to loosen up and get the magnets to line up and stay together. My cat was curious and played with it but lost interest quick. I guess it depends on the cat and their energy levels. I think this would be more suited for kittens with high energy. My adult cat hit the ball a few times then walked away. I like the concept and think it probably works better and makes playtime more fun when buying 2 and hooking them together. All in all id recommend for cats or kittens with high energy and id recommended buying 2 to make it bigger and easier to create the different shapes it advertises.

She loves it! I don't think I've ever seen her more interested in a toy before, but this one seems to peak her interest for hours on end! Such a simple design, and a great way to keep kittums entertained and engaged and keeping her out of trouble!
Very easy to set up. The item is very sturdy, and my two cats are having fun trying to get the ball out of the tube. FYI: there are magnets on both ends so you can connect it into a circle; it took me two days to realize that. haha
Even though it's made out cardboard it holds up really well. My cat wanted to play when she first heard the ball. Definitely gonna buy another one because I think if it was bigger she'd love it even more. Maybe get one for my other cat so they don't have to share.
It was love at first sight for our kitty. She did not even wait for me to set it down before she started pawing at it. Once on the floor she really went after it. She was fascinated by the "reappearing" ball. She is not really a big fan of cat toys but this kept her returning to play throughout the day. Kitty Kurlz is easy to assemble and appears to be durable and well made. I appreciate the ability to easily collapse it and tuck away for another day if she loses interest in it... then the fun can start over again at a later date. Update: More than a month later and this is still her favorite toy. Several times a day she stops by to play with it. Funny to watch what a contortionist she is when attacking this prey.
Great for kittens with curiosity and energy, especially if you add catnip. My older cats were not so interested, but they liked the ball on its own. It is much better made than the knockoffs and good for keeping kittens from using furniture as a scratcher. Compact and not as ugly as other toys
Y cat loves this cardboard scratcher, and uses it everyday! It is made of great quality, and is very durable! I love that this is shape shifting for different moderations. You can twist, flip, and transform it to all different shapes. Theres a built in track with a ball for interactive play. This scratcher is dual sided, so will last longer. Everything is non toxic to keep your cat safe! This scratcher was a great value for the money and my cat loves playing on it daily and keeps her busy! Highly recommend for any cat parent!
Was smaller than thought. I put 4 together and is about the right size. Also wish magnets that hold it together were a little stronger. Kittens get rough with it, and it opens up losing the balls making me search for them. But, still best cat toy ever had. They absolutely love it.
Got this for my 15 week old Siberian kitten. She loves it and it definitely keeps her entertained. I bought 2 and am gifting one for a friend. Highly recommend!
Having a two and a half year old cat who is hard to entertain is a task and then some. I knew this would be a hit. As soon as I set it down, she went after it. The noisy ball in the center is entertaining for any cat. This is made of durable corrugated material and is held together by a magnet. I think this toy will last a long time!
She’s maybe not as enthusiastic as the cats in the ad, but my cat really enjoys playing with the balls inside her double Kitty Kurlz, and apparently it’s comfy to nap inside as well. :-)
Have never received my order and have not gotten money back or any correspondence this upsets me because I truly believed this product was a good one and ordered buy one get one free I haven't received either bad business

3 cats with very different personalities, they all really like it. Specifically, they like 2 of the kurlz stuck together into a big kurl. I’m buying a few more for the future, in units of 2.

Bought this as a gimmicky toy for my boy Dracula and he is in love with it. I had to sprinkle some catnip to get him started but he hasnt left it alone since. Im not one to give 5 star reviews, but for my furry son, i will relent this one time, but only because he love it.
Nice creative, well-made toy. My cat will only play with it (slightly for 2min) if I do as well, though. Any cat-parent suggestions to get my cat more interested in it? I’ve even tried sprinkling catnip on it to entice her interest.
